Mayors Against Illegal Guns is a coalition of more than 500 mayors from big cities and small towns who are dedicated to advancing policies at the national, state, and local levels that prevent criminals from illegally obtaining guns.
Our coalition supports the Second Amendment rights of law abiding citizens to own guns, and we recognize that the vast majority of gun dealers and gun owners carefully follow the law. As mayors, our highest responsibility is to enforce the law and protect our citizens.
